Welcome to Maedix-Q. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our quiz platform, video generation service, and related features. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Maedix-Q, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
• You must verify your email address through our OTP verification process
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

3. Service Description

Maedix-Q provides:

• Quiz Platform: Interactive quizzes across various categories with progress tracking
• Video Generation: Convert quizzes into vertical video format (9:16) for social media
• Direct Posting: Post videos directly to Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
• Creator Tools: Create and manage your own quizzes
• Analytics: Track your learning progress, XP, and streaks

4. User-Generated Content

4.1 Your Content

When you create quizzes or content on Maedix-Q:

• You retain ownership of your original content
• You grant us a license to host, display, and distribute your content through our platform
• You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on others' rights

4.2 Content Guidelines

You agree NOT to create or share content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains malware, spam, or deceptive content
• Violates any applicable laws or regulations
• Is sexually explicit or promotes violence
• Impersonates others or misrepresents your affiliation

4.3 Content Moderation

User-created quizzes are subject to review and approval. We reserve the right to reject or remove content that violates these guidelines without prior notice.

5. Third-Party Integrations

5.1 Instagram Integration

• You must have an Instagram Business or Creator account to use this feature
• You authorize us to post content to your Instagram account on your behalf
• You are responsible for compliance with Instagram's Terms of Use and Community Guidelines
• We are not responsible for any actions taken by Instagram on your account

5.2 YouTube Integration

• You must have a YouTube channel to use this feature
• You authorize us to upload videos to your YouTube channel on your behalf
• You are responsible for compliance with YouTube's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
• By using this feature, you also agree to Google's Terms of Service
• We are not responsible for any actions taken by YouTube/Google on your account

5.3 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you post through our platform to third-party services. Ensure your content complies with all applicable platform policies and laws.

6. Subscription and Payments

6.1 Subscription Plans

• We offer Free, Pro, and Enterprise subscription plans
• Features and usage limits vary by plan
• Plan details and pricing are available on our pricing page

6.2 Payment Processing

• Payments are processed securely through Razorpay
• You agree to provide accurate payment information
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated

6.3 Cancellation and Refunds

• You can cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial months or unused features
• We reserve the right to offer refunds at our discretion

6.4 Usage Limits

Each plan has usage limits (e.g., video generations per month). Exceeding limits may require upgrading your plan. Usage resets based on your billing cycle.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Property

The Maedix-Q platform, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform without permission.

7.2 Generated Videos

Videos generated using our platform:

• May include our branding or watermark (depending on your plan)
• Can be used for personal or commercial purposes
• Remain your property with regards to the quiz content

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Use automated systems or bots to access our service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt our services
• Use our service for any illegal purpose
• Resell or redistribute our services without authorization
• Scrape, copy, or harvest our content or user data
• Circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions

9. Service Availability

• We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
• Third-party integrations depend on external services beyond our control
• We are not liable for downtime or service interruptions

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Maedix-Q is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for actions taken by third-party platforms (Instagram, YouTube)
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
• We are not responsible for content you post to third-party platforms

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maedix-Q and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of our services
• Content you create or post through our platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of third-party platform terms

12. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time through your settings
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your access to the service will cease
• Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy guidelines

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of India.
